The art of swordplay? That seems to be an interesting choice for yourself, though I should not be surprised since you have had your sword by your side every time I have seen you in the house. Why swordplay? Why not, oh I do not know, the art of archery?

I took lessons when I was a human. After I was changed and I found Jumpy and this family, she told me to choose a weapon. I figured since I knew the sword best, it was the most logical choice. I've practiced to improve my techniques ever since. Swordplay and ballet...
*smiles to self*

Swordplay and Ballet? That sounds like a deadly combination of two non-connected skills.

That is why I could never wield a sword. I was too clumsy as a human and I am still clumsy as a vampire. I rather enjoy the art of archery.

It can be very deadly, yes.
I haven't had much chance to use it though, except in sparring with others...

It sounds interesting, and I'm sure you're quite good at it.
I saw your bow. We had one other member who did archery, but... she's no longer with us.

I believe I saw your skills in your memories. You and Nikki sparred one time long ago, did you not? It is a very handy skill to know. You can translate its use to small daggers and other weapons of that sword family.

And I suppose I could, although the smaller weapons really aren't in my taste.

Thank you. Though I have to say I am not too horrible where I would hit someone's workshop. If I was attempting to wield a blade, I would not allow anyone within one hundred feet of myself.

Oregon, in the United States. A very small town almost right in the center of the state.
*fingers some cloth hanging from a beam*
My family was dysfunctional... as you probably saw. I try not to remember my human days much.
*shrugs*

*thinks* They're the most painful of my memories... with a few exceptions.

I am sorry. I assumed it would not be right for me to not ask about you because my gift allows me to see people memories and history. Though I should have known they pain you.

The United States? It seems you are the only person originating from the United States. Do people here have a grudge against Americans?

No, there's no grudge! We just haven't had anyone else come in from there. Since the family originated in Europe, that's where most of our members come from. We have quite a few from Italy, and I think one or two from France.

And now one from Norway. *smirks*

One would think more would originate from Norway, since the house is located here. Rather be from Norway than the United States.
