*leans against counter and feeds Dante*

I haven't seen Uncle in a while.

*grabs food from cabinets*

*begins to prepare lasagna, pointedly ignoring Angelo due to *ahem* awkward situation*

I don't recall seeing you around the house lately.

*looks down at lasagna*

I'm fine. I've just been busy. Unpacking and decorating my room and whatnot. Listening to music. Catching up on my reading.

*stirs sauce*

*goes back to feeding Dante*

So... I've heard that Dante's getting his teeth now.

Sure! He's not going to bite me, is he? I'm not so sure I trust him with teeth if he's anything like his father.

*hands Dante to Arianna*

*takes Dante*

*Dante opens his mouth*

Aww! You're getting so much older! Soon you'll be brooding in dark corners, just like your daddy!

*bounces Dante on hip*

Have you already introduced him to blood?

*shakes head*
Not yet.
But we will--with time and slowly.
At this age, he can't make rational decisions, so I feel it's best to wait.

*nods*

*bounces Dante some more*

Wouldn't want you biting Auntie Arianna, now would we? But you're so sweet, I don't think you'd ever do that.

Four months.
He's growing fast, though.
