Almost a year ago, my uncle and Jumpy were in a bit of a feud.
I still worked for him, then.
My uncle kidnapped Jumpy, as ridiculous as it sounds, for ransom.
Monica betrayed her family to help mine.
That's the first reason why everyone hates her.

So... everyone hates her because she took sides? I don't get it. Family is family, no matter what stupid shit someone does.

Arianna I don't know this story but I can tell you something.
If she picked sides she was meaning it for evil.
I never got her way of thinking and may never but one thing she loved was death or pain.
If what Angelo is talking about involed pain she loved it.

She's still family. I wouldn't abandon Daniella for the world. She's all I have.

Jumpy was tortured, beaten, all because Monica had turned her in to my uncle.

Sounds like something she would do.
Let me guess she didn't know Jumpy was her mum.

Think about Dante. Even if he did that to you, would you abandon him? Would you hate him? He's a part of you, and--as cheesy as that sounds--it means something more than simple science can define.

That's different.
Dante is my son.
He's MY blood.
I barely knew this family then, so Monica certainly wasn't MY family.

I'm not saying that YOU have a reason to like her, Angelo. I'm just trying to understand how someone could abandon someone of THEIR blood, as you put it.
