Angelo and Jumpy

You KNOW, Stefan is quite the charmer.
And his interests are.. different from mine, in so many words.
We're related.
There's a family resemblance..

*enthusiastically*
You see, Stefan goes both ways, and he's absolutely free.
He's smarter than me and not as rude.
I think you'd find him to your liking.

Jumpy had walked through much of the house.
Peering in rooms here and there.
Finally she made the timid decision to go to her old room.
She had told Angelo she would be right back.
She had been gone for many months, many, many months.
Making new connections, loosing herself even farther than she already had.
Although the pull for her old friends and life became too strong.
Including a pull for her son. Stefan, Angelo's cousin, had followed her.
After a time, and had at last, convinced her to come home.
If she could even refer to it as her home. If she could even be called the boss anymore.

For the second time in less than five minutes Jumpy knocked on a door to
a room she had once called her own. Where she had never knocked before.
She walked in, she hadn't been invited yet, and yet, she couldn't wait any longer.
She caught her breath as she barged in.

"I..." She stuttered. "I'm home."

*sits up*
*groggily*
Hmm?
*blinks a couple of times*
*awkwardly*
I, uh, hi.
*thinks*
God, you're terrible, Angelo.
*scratches head*

She stood, memorized.
Yet, she refused to give in to him.
His eyes, how cute he looked sleepy.
She simply refused.

"May I see my child?" Jumpy spoke softly, as if the
months away had ripped her of mother as well as everything else.

I--of course.
I would never..
*clears throat*
Yeah, Jumpy.
That's fine.
*stands and finds a pair of pants*
*sighs*

Jumpy peered around the room she had once claimed as hers.
She resited the urge to ask Angelo "Never what?" She had many
things she could add to the end, and yet everything had gone so wrong.
All of the emotions she had repressed suddenly came flying back at her with such force.

"Has he been well?" She allowed herself one question.

*represses a smile*
Yes, he has.
He's started talking a little, and he can take a few steps, with a little of help, of course.
*goes over to crib*
*softly*
Bambino, your mother is here.
*picks up Dante and sets him on his feet*
Go tell her hello.

Jumpy Monica Moretti, or perhaps it had been changed back in her absence.
She wasn't sure, she was sure however, that she had missed her son more than the
anything in the world. No comparison would ever work, to show how much she really had regretted leaving.

"Dante, come here Dante!"
A smile lit her entire face as she saw her son.

*looks at Angelo*

*wobbles over to Jumpy*

*clenches hands and pouts*

Up! Up!

Jumpy's face still lit up, became even brighter as she picked up her son.
"Do you know who I am?"
She whispered to her child.
"I am your mother, little one."

*makes a confused face*

*tugs Jumpy's hair*

*gnaws on finger*

Sighing Jumpy spoke to her son.
"Little one, I was away, but I'm back now."
She had missed so very much, but his face, oh how she loved it.
She patted his lovely hair. In her most soothing voice she spoke.
" Mummy had some problems, but she's all better now."
Looking at Angelo she hopped she could live with him and make that statement true.

Mamamamamama?

*looks at Angelo*

*looks at Jumpy*

Mamamamamamamamama.

Dadadadadadadadadadada.

*points at Jumpy*

*clears throat*
Yes, Dante.
She's your mother.
*leans against wall and looks around awkwardly*
*stares at feet*

Ah, the joy that brought to her heart.
"Yes, I am in your mother!"
She was so very happy, she pointed to Angelo.
"That is your daddy, and I am your mother."

*grins*

Mama!

*places a small hand on Jumpy's cheek*

Oh, the small gesture melted her heart.
She hugged her son tightly to her chest.

*chuckles*
*holds back a smile*
*thinks*
They look so happy to see each other.

*sneaks a peak over at Angelo*
"I am, happy to be back."

(I gave up typing a bunch. xD I'm feeling lazy.)

*nods*
I know.
You can have the bedroom tonight, so you and Dante can spend more time together.
*offers a half-smile*

"Thank you, I'm, glad."
*smiles*
She honestly didn't want to sleep there,
however she really didn't have anywhere else to go.

You're welcome.
I think I'll fix a bottle.
He hasn't eaten in about three hours, so he'll be hungry soon.
Um.
*nods and goes downstairs*

*sits down with Dante*
'Ah, I've missed you little one.'
