Vampires. Werewolves. I can handle that. It does explain a lot, after all....but.....

The thought of someone else having such immense power, though.... it scares me. I mean, as a human, I've lived my life under the assumption that no matter what hardship I faced, I could make it. Because I was a member of the most powerful species on the planet. Now I'm told that no matter what I do, I'm totally defenseless?

I wonder what my life would be like if I had been taken with Daniella.

I wonder what it would be like, to be one of them. Eternally beautiful, never aging, free from the fearful anxiety that consumes every human as they come closer to death....

But I imagine that it is a lonely existence.
