((In regards to his powers- he has many. Melan was born into the world of vampires in either The Dark ages or The Classical Time periods of Greece. Meaning either 1100-750 BC or 500-336 BC. And while according to some vampire legends- this may not be possible, I would like to ask: since when do we know any true facts about vampires? This is the time period that works for his character.

In being born in this time, and surviving through the ages- Melan has learned many things that many have not. He can keep his mind safe from intruders, he can keep his face entirely blank, he can say things entirely heartfelt and also things that are completely a lie [to which he is using, the reader/listener can be none the wiser]. He can read minds, and body mannerisms. He can keep himself shut of from much of the world- and yet he can read that same amount without hardly trying. Melan may not be the only one of his kind, he never means to present that, for even he does not know everything and everyone out there.

With this addition of the post- I hope you gather what you may not know about this man and realize a smidgen of what he may be like. Do not think you know.))
