The qualifications of a tragic hero are:

-of noble birth/decent (and he was born into a successful family)
-tragic flaw (ohhhhh so many)
-epiphany
-downfall (coming soon to a forum near you)
-the tragic flaw usually causes the downfall

I can watch him suffer, but I couldn't kill him.
