That was such a long time ago, but I still remember it clearly!
I was looking in a shop for some things that I could possibly put up around the house in Ireland. Security, ya know? I bumped into this man, and I knew he was a vampire instantly, and he knew I was. We were both kind of startled and on the alert of each other, but I saw him holding something and I asked what it was. "Oh, it's a camera I fixed," he said, and he let me look over it more carefully. He had modified it so it would switch between normal and night vision when the light around it changed. I fascinated, and so we just kind of hit it off. I went to his cabin a few days later, and he's been my resource for my security stuff ever since.

Since he's... older, not just in vampire years, but human as well, he became like my father. He was always good at giving advice, and he told me about his daughter.

I've never gotten to know Kale but I can see him being like that.
